Dave Grohl had a little something to say about his new favorite band, Bleeding Rainbow, in Classic Rock Magazine.
"The blonde chick that plays bass and sings reminds me of a young Kathleen Hanna from Bikini Kill or Kat Bjelland from Babes in Toyland. I don't know if she's that psychotic. I hope not."
We would say no, but then she gave us this piece - which is a least a little nuts - or maybe just gutsy - you be the judge.
"Fear of Men make songs about loneliness, sexual dread and mortality anxiety. This new song was inspired by Kafka. Enjoy!" Read more at The Guardian
"Outrun Me" is the B side to previously premiered single "Luna"

"The Drop Beneath is another strong step toward Eternal Summers being a band like Bettie or Velocity Girl, the kind that other bands will look to for inspiration 20 years later." All Music
"There's a moment about 40 seconds into to this flangey summer pop song where liftoff happens, that moment where the song goes from good to unforgettable. " More at NPR, "Gouge" Song of the Week
"While reminiscent of introspective UK shoegaze groups like My Bloody Valentine and Lush, Roanoke, Virginia trio, Eternal Summers’ sound on their brand new album, The Drop Beneath, shouldn't be so simply defined." Read more at Bust Magazine
"And as a result, they’re slowly transitioning to one of our very favorite bands making music right now, and a sure pick for 2014’s next breakout act." The Key XPN Read more of the "Band on the Brink: Eternal Summers talk Kombucha, DIY, and why they feel the scene owes them nothing"
And here's a solid review from Pop Matters review that calls out the last track: "The group is unafraid to get jammy on the title track"
Eternal Summers is on tour and playing Brooklyn at Baby's Allright tonight.
