Beach Day leaks "All My Friends Were Punks" via Non Violent Femmes & Consequence of Sound

Beach Day's "All My Friends Were Punks" is currently featured on the exclusive Record Store Day compilation "Non Violent Femmes" which also features tracks by Speedy Ortiz, Joanna Gruesome, Eternal Summers, TEEN, Beverly and more.

"…Punks" will also be included on the upcoming Beach Day album "Native Echoes" out later this summer. All details forthcoming. Except follow @beachdayband on twitter to help unlock the Native Echoes cover art.

"Drenched in a deep sense of nostalgia, the power-pop anthem pays homage to the band’s hazy teen years of searching for identity in the tumultuous Florida punk scene. Despite the dense subject matter, though, the band’s use of ample hand claps and bright, multi-part harmonies helps lend a sense of much-needed brevity in an otherwise shaky trip down memory lane." Introducing Flowers

We are excited to announce the addition of FLOWERS to the Kanine roster. We have included the exclusive track "All I Want" on the RSD 2014 compilation "Non Violent Femmes" and you can stream the track at the right. Flowers has released several 7" and EPs in the UK, and details about their debut album (which will be released by Fortuna Pop in the UK) are forthcoming.

About Flowers:
Flowers is Sam, Rachel and Jordan. Upon meeting in 2012, they moved in together and started practicing and writing pop songs in their London living room. Their live performances draw a line between joyous fuzz pop and minimalist brilliance, with screaming distortion eventually calming down to singer Rachel playing solo on a one-stringed bass.

Flowers regularly plays in London, has toured Europe with The Pains of Being Pure at Heart and visited NYC for Popfest in 2013. The reception at live shows has been nothing less than rapturous. They are looking forward to releasing their debut album and returning to the US.

"Then came what may have been the high point of Popfest, and certainly the most pleasant surprise. Flowers ... have a deceptively simple set-up ... but the music they conjured was nothing short of magical. A little Jesus And Mary Chain, a lot of Black Tambourine, and one hell of a voice." DoNYC

Beverly interviewed by Fred Armisen for Tom Tom Magazine

A little while back, Beverly (Drew & Frankie) got together with Fred Armisen for a chat courtesy of Tom Tom Magazine. It's a fun interview that tells the story of how Beverly came to be.

Since the interview was recorded, we have announced the release of "Careers" album for July 1st and leaked the track "Honey Do" and the album teaser.

Most recently, Beverly has debuted the touring band, which will not feature Frankie (so she can continue to focus on her solo project). Drew will be joined by musicians for touring and early reviews of the live show say it's got great energy and a full sound that the Beverly record demands for a live setting.

"From what I heard, Careers is going to be a mighty enjoyable album, perfectly slated for this summer. Drew Citron may not have had Frankie Rose by her side, but she dominated the stage with a noticeable confidence that was showcased through the bands exciting energy." WE ALL WANT SOMEONE

"I caught the Night Bazaar show and they seemed to have it pretty down right out of the gate. It helps in no small part that Beverly's songs are ridiculously catchy, crunchy and not too sweet -- part Breeders (think "Divine Hammer"), part early Weezer." BROOKLYN VEGAN
