Beverly premieres video for "Honey Do" at Dazed

Video directed by Hanly Banks.

Dazed says: "The ideal soundtrack for grabbing an iced coffee with friends, eating too many strawberries, or breezily flicking through magazines indoors – whatever's your summer jam."

The video for Beverly's "Honey Do" features portraits from Austin, TX based high school seniors. Director Hanly Banks was interested in capturing the sweet and innocent vibe and doing portraits at a turning point in their lives. The summery, lazy haze of the song makes for a fitting soundtrack.

Beverly's "Careers" is out July 1st. Pre-order it here. According to Under the Radar Magazine, "You could hardly ask for a better summertime LP"

PRAISE for LOOM

“A graceful exhibition of light melody over dark mood” Q MAGAZINE (4 stars)

“The more people who discover Jessica Weiss’s haunting songs and Fear of Men’s classic indie sound the better” THE SUNDAY TIMES

“A set of songs as effortlessly enjoyable as they are smart, as inspired as they are hopeless.” ALL MUSIC GUIDE (4 1/2 out of 5)

"At the intersection of light and dark, dreams and waking, art and music, there lies Fear of Men.” CONSEQUENCE OF SOUND

“Psychological trauma aside, there’s a warmth to Weiss’ soft, sighing vocals and Daniel Falvey’s rippling guitar textures that lifts ‘Loom’ to the heavens.” NME 8/10

“Striking a smart balance between effortless pop and over-thought melancholia” ONION AV CLUB

“Loom is a beautifully fragile album.” THE 405 (UK)

“With 'Loom', Fear of Men have created something more than mere fragments; a record which could engulf you if you give it chance; where sounds and textures merge together to create a beautifully bleak story.” THIS IS FAKE DIY 4 out of 5

“This is the rare offering of post-Smiths jangle that doesn't rely on pomp or posturing” UNDER THE RADAR MAGAZINE 8/10
