Beverly "Careers" full album stream available now @Stereogum, out July 1st

"Careers" from Beverly is not officially out until next week. But you can stream the album in full over at Stereogum- and read an interview with Drew too. If you've preordered the album, it has already shipped and is on its way to you - or perhaps it has arrived!

Drew talks to Paper Magazine about all her "careers".

Beverly is one of Rolling Stone's Artist to Know

The Honey Do video is one of Stereogum's Top 5: "Teenagers, in their awkward skittish squinty glory, are some of the greatest people in the world, and it’s nice when a music video will just let them be awkward skittish squinty teenagers. This is the sort of thing that can only happen when you say no to the fashion conglomerate that wants to underwrite your music video, or maybe when the fashion conglomerate never comes sniffing around in the first place."

Pandora users - Beverly Careers is also streaming over at Pandora Premieres station for the week.

Flowers announces debut "Do What You Want To, It's What You Should Do" for Sept 9th, premieres "Young" at The Fader/Clash

London based trio Flowers ends their live shows with singer Rachel Kenedy utterly still, accompanying herself on a one string bass guitar, soul laid bare. It is a stark and quiet moment in comparison to what came before, which can be characterized by Sam Ayres blur of kinetic energy on guitar and Jordan Hockley’s urgent and precision drumming all performed with a sense of minimalism and brevity. It is this that best characterizes the fourteen deceptively simple pop songs that comprise Flowers debut, Do What You Want To, It’s What You Should Do out September 8th via Fortuna Pop! (UK) and September 9th via Kanine (US).

"There’s not often a lot to say about classic-sounding indie-pop without dropping in the expected descriptors: sweet, scrappy, twee. But sometimes a song comes along that’s all of those things but also feels pure, like “Young” by London three-piece Flowers" Read more at The Fader

"Reminiscent of Cocteau Twins and their splendid cathedral of sound, the song craft is steeped in indie lore, in a charming, self-effacing way of translating emotion into sound." Read more at Clash Magazine

New Beverly track "Planet Birthday" debuts at Noisey

"The breathy-ness of the "Planet Birthday" single is an indication of their trajectory; a driving post-punk baseline, hints of noise, and a sexy vocal that nods at The Jesus & Mary Chain stylistically." Read more at Noisey
