This might actually be year 10 of SXSW for Kanines – we’re not really sure, bc/it’s all a blur. What we do know is the following. Jon Parales of the NY Times said “I was happy to get an infusion of roiling psychedelia from Royal Baths”. Spin best live photos includes OJ Xray Eyeballs & Zambri (thanks Ian!) and Gorilla vs Bear excellent polaroid series includes Zambri. Zambri also played the late, late nite, almost went ’til sunrise Stereogum party and Flavorpill/Heart Spade. Eternal Summers played on a roof and Young Prisms at NYU party, Cheer up Charlie’s and the Sound Garage. Xray Eyeballs even played on Sunday and everyone worked really hard as usual. Special thanks to Origami Vinyl, Etnies, Beauty Bar and Chairlift for our fun day party.
Of course Lio saw some new exciting acts we hope to be pimpin’ in the future as well as accidentally talking himself into the Snoop Dog Doritos party, making this the ultimate kanine sxsw!
