On the eve of their inaugural UK tour, Oslo’s next big exports Veps are back with a shimmering, new single Ballerina (Norah). Veps have great ambitions for 2002, which includes dropping their debut full length, but for now, the teenage foursome is pleased to share this “cheerful, yet bitter-sweet song about being blown away by the flaws of the people you hold close.” It’s a follow up to last year’s blistering single His Brother, and while it showcases a more vulnerable side, it’s still packed with emotion and the indelible, pop hooks we’ve come to expect from Veps.
